Lower Parallel Frame (Lower Parallel Yoke)

This component is part of the elevator’s mechanical system and functions as a support and holding structure for the cabin.

This type of yoke is more commonly used in MRL (Machine Room-Less) elevators with limited space, as well as in situations where the distance between the guide rails is large (cabin rail and counterweight rail).

It is installed at the bottom of the cabin and, like the upper parallel yoke, is positioned parallel to the guide rails to ensure cabin stability and safety.

What is a Yoke?

The yoke, also known as the car frame, is one of the main mechanical components of an elevator and plays a vital role in force transmission and movement.

This part is typically made of high-strength metals and serves as the central axis or main structural frame between the elevator cabin and the lifting system.

The yoke works together with the suspension ropes and the elevator motor to ensure stable and safe movement of the cabin along its travel path. Yokes consist of three main sections: the upper yoke, lower yoke, and side yoke. In Cabin Plus, each section is precisely and fully engineered with the aim of improving cabin performance and safety.
